Lift Latinhearts Production Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and amplifying Americans of Latino descent voices in the arts, with a specific focus on streaming, television and film production. The non-profit was established to provide financial resources, mentorship, and production support for filmmakers, (Latino and non-Latino), who cast a minimum of 25% of their lead characters with Americans of Latino descent playing American characters, helping them bring ther real fabric of diversity to the USA mainstream audience.
With the Latino community soon to reach 25% of the population and "Hollywood" still grossly underepresenting the Latino community, Lift Latinhearts is here to prepare future generations for change that is inevitable in mainstream entertainment - the appropriate representation of Latinos.
Lift Latinhearts aims to reduce the barriers to entry in the entertainment industry, creating equal opportunities for Latino talent and ensuring that they are represented in mainstream media in numbers which reflect the real USA. The organization fosters collaboration among Latino creatives and industry professionals, working to build a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable arts community.
