My Story: R i c k C u é l l a r
Visionary Leader in Entertainment and Cultural Advocacy

Rick Cuéllar is a trailblazer in entertainment, blending creative passion with business expertise to redefine representation and storytelling. A graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word, Rick earned a double major in BBA International Business and BA Human Relations.

Rick further refined his expertise at San Antonio College, studying television and film production, which propelled him to become a pioneer in the streaming era. He wrote and produced Alamo Heights SA, the first professionally produced scripted drama for streaming, which boldly featured two wealthy families of Latino descent. The streaming series begin building an audience over the internet around the world before Netflix and HULU being streaming. It then crossed over to television in 27 markets before the recession put a halt to the project. AHSA broke barriers by portraying Latino characters in nuanced, empowering roles within a genre that had historically sidelined diverse voices.

With a career as an International Business Consultant to Fortune 500 companies around the world, specializing in strategic planning and new business development, Rick brings unparalleled insight to his mission of transforming the entertainment landscape. His visionary 21-component strategic plan aims to build a sustainable entertainment economy in Texas, creating lasting career opportunities for talent and crew while promoting authentic representation.

As a former member of the City of San Antonio Arts Commission appointed by city council, where he served for four years, Rick has consistently advocated for cultural innovation. Through groundbreaking initiatives like the Fiesta SATX Film Festival, the Latinhearts Walk of Fame, the Viva USA brand and Lift Latinhearts Production Fund, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, Rick Cuéllar is leading a movement to elevate the contributions of Americans of Latino descent, inspire unity, and bring their presence to the forefront of the mainstream American audience.

With over twenty-five years of relentless focus on his vision, Rick Cuéllar, founder of One Track Vision, LLC, continues his mission to ensure that future generations of Americans of Latino descent have opportunities that today’s generations have been denied. He is assembling a visionary team committed to advancing a strategic plan designed to create jobs and lifelong careers for Texans. This initiative aims to inspire unity, empower communities, and elevate authentic representation in mainstream media. At its core lies the goal of establishing the first Studio Lot dedicated to producing English-language content featuring Americans of Latino descent in leading roles, with a mission to challenge entrenched stereotypes and reshape societal perceptions in the United States.
