Not at the start. This is a volunteer-based group, and all members agree to perform and participate without pay. However, if the group books paid performances, sponsorships, or sells merchandise, compensation will be shared as will be outlined in the talent agreement.
That will be discussed in more detail with those selected to join Mariachi Mode.
Once you are selected to join Mariachi Mode, you will not be able to be a part of other bands.
You must have a good reputation in the community. You must willing to participate in fundraisers and promotional events. If you can’t attend a non-performance fundraiser, you must send a representative.
Illegal substances or non-prescribed drugs in any form will be tolerated. Those 21 years of age and above will be required to refrain from alcohol during rehearsal days and public appearances.
Random drug tests will be conducted.
Yes, there will be live auditions. Those selected on the preliminary online auditions will be the first to audition at the live auditions.
To add a new FAQ follow these steps:
1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor
2. Add a new question & answer
3. Assign your FAQ to a category
4. Save and publish.
You can always come back and edit your FAQs.
Yes. To add media follow these steps:
1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor
2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one
3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon
4. Add media from your library and save.
Auditions are open to anyone across the USA. However the band will be based in San Antonio and rehearsals will be in San Antonio. Therefore it is imperative the talent reside in San Antonio.
At this time, there will be no accomodations provided.
Rehearsals will be mandatory. Each case will be looked at on a case by case basis.
Rehearsals will be 3-4 days per week, including every Saturday. Hours will be provided if you are selected.
A valid photo ID & a Birth certificate. If you are a minor, your guardian must provide both as well in addition to proof of guardianship.
Yes, if you are 17 or turning 17 by January 1, 2026, you will be able to audition with the written consent of your parents or legal guardians.
